Glasha - an uncommon mind stands behind this “casual” look

5 years old, female, 60 cm, 23 kg, healthy, spayed, vaccinated up to date
Don’t be misled by Glasha’s common appearance, an uncommon mind stands behind this “casual” look. Glasha currently lives in foster family. She spent 4 years in the open kennel of Gav shelter accommodating 400 dogs on a small territory. Usually joyful, playful and happy Glasha started feeling depressed in shelter. Each new year in shelter was taking her love for life. Against the background of complete physical health, Glasha’s mental health was getting worse with each new weak in shelter. It was decided to replace Glasha to a foster home, where Glasha started getting back her bright temper and meaning of life.
Glasha has opened her character in a rather unpredictable way: she not only quickly learns basic commands, but some tricks as well (like searching for hidden things by smell). Glasha loves the learning process, the very process of mental enrichment is important for her. Glasha loves communication with people and prefers to communicate with humans rather than with dogs. She may act dominant with other dogs, but in case Glasha gets an equal respond – she immediately stops her attempts to dominate.

Her behaviour is formed by shelter, where she was accommodated in a kennel with 3 more dogs, which bit Glasha for many times and didn’t let her go inside wooden winter box. That was the second reason we took Glasha to foster home. If people are not intended to communicate with Glasha at the moment – Glasha will not be insistent and will entertain herself: replacing her toys, collecting them in one place or taking icicles of the puddle while walking outside. Glasha’s peculiar character formed by very different circumstances of her life opens up in some amazing features.
Glasha is home-trained, easily stays home alone, doesn’t want to occupy sofas or beds, fully satisfied by a place of her own, never spoils toys or things at home. Glasha easily takes grooming and medical procedures, loves travelling in a care – behaves calm and never feels sick. Glasha loves long walks! She will feel most comfortable with people interested in communication with their dog and sharing mutual activities. Glasha is curious in exploring the world, nature and loves to look into the skies. Glasha loves children and communicating with children as well. If you are interested in Glasha we will be glad to share additional information.
