Gordy – a gentle heart in a brutal appearance. The best true companion one can ever find. Joyful, kind-hearted male with a delicate soul. Gordy is a playful, active male with stable psyche, tolerant to living both in the city and countryside. He never gets scared of loud sounds of the city, is loyal to overcrowded and new places, and at the same time – adores endless fields of countryside and ability to run and play freely. Gordy loves long walks and running freely, he is friendly with other dogs and cats, easily makes new friends, and can be adopted as a second dog. He never tries to dominate, never fights for food with other dogs.
He doesn’t have any food guarding or resource guarding instinct, neither with other dogs, nor with humans. Friendly with strangers. Gordy loves studies and has good potential for learning new commands and tricks! He truly loves this because during studies he may please his people and be praised with a kind word. Gordy is that rare dog character that truly loves to make his people happy. Because contact and communication with his humans is a matter of great importance for this noble and intellectual dog. Gordy is artistic and loves people watching him.
Gordy knows what true friendship is. He had a best friend and constant playmate on foster they were both living, that friend was adopted some time ago, and Gordy was very sad for a couple days. Gordy is fully home trained, loyal to any hygiene or medical procedures, loves travelling in a car (never feels sick), loves all kinds of activities and will be glad to share active lifestyle with his human or family. Gordy is trained to stay home alone, never spoils things and waits for his walk as long as it is needed. But still most comfortable Gordy is in human presence, so when his people are out – he will be waiting for them. Gordy loves children and loves to play with children. For a child he will be a best running and playing mate that never gets tired and is always full of energy.
We don’t know Gordy’s past, but in his early life he was badly beaten by humans, that is why one thing that may make Gordy scared, and panic is human anger. Being an object of shouting, Gordy falls on the ground and starts screaming, no aggression, only deep fear. Hard past makes us truly proud of what Gordy is today – he didn’t become embittered and is truly affectionate to humans. He is a loving, affectionate, joyful, active and happy dog who is eager to share his love with his human or family.
