Jack - a real bundle of energy, love and affection

2 years old, male, 70 cm, 32 kg, healthy, neutered, vaccinated up to date
Jack has been living in a shelter for more than 2 years now. Shelter is a sever place where 400 dogs are accommodated by 3 – 6 dogs in one kennel. Feeling cramped in kennels dogs start fighting for their place, dominant role and food resources. Severe existence badly affects the characters of most animals. Dogs may not become aggressive or dominant in a shelter, but in most cases lose the lose the inborn joy of life. But it’s not about Jack! His love of life and love of people is so strong that he’s managed to keep it in shelter. Jack is a joyful, happy, open character. He is designed to run the fields with a smile on his face, chasing the wind and making his people smile.
When volunteers come to visit Jack on weekends, he is the first to run up and share his affection and gratitude. Full of energy and joy, he kind of immideately forgets about the severe conditions he is living in. Jack loves long walks and communication. He is open to all strangers and newcomers. His vitality is stunning and tremendous. He’s kept his amazing character despite all the circumstances he goes through. Jack is a strong, young, active male which will feel comfortable in a family or with a person living a sporty lifestyle. Jack needs to move, strong and young, he’s been deprived of an ability to run freely, and he is lacking it so much…

Jack has got a stable psyche. He is nice with children. Jack doesn’t’ know what aggression is. He is a sunny and light boy deprived of any trait of aggressive behavior. He easily makes friends among dogs and humans. Due to an open and happy character Jack participated in shelter dogs’ exhibition in February 2025. So, we had a chance to test him in new surroundings. Jack easily underwent washing, was only a bit afraid of hair dryer. He didn’t feel sick in a car, easily took several long drives.
Only felt a small anxiety in overcrowded surroundings for the first hour – was pulling on a leash. But during the exhibition Jack demonstrated perfect behavior – was relaxed lying on the floor and welcoming the visitors. Unfortunately, Jack was never chosen, as the rate of dog adoption in Russia tends to zero, and even the small dogs stay in shelters for life. Please, have a look at Jack – it’s a brilliant kind heart, the most positive energy he is eager to share with people, nice appearance and good looking exterior. Jack deserves to be a home dog.
