Julina - light and timid character she didn't lose in a shelter

female, 5 years old, spayed, 67 cm, 25 kg, healthy, vaccinated up to date
Julina is a dog with balanced character and stable psyche. She hasn’t had a chance to fully open her character as she is living in a dog shelter with 400 more dogs and volunteers only come to walk with her on weekends. Nevertheless, Julina was chosen to participate in several charity dog festivals aimed at finding a family for homeless dogs. She was chosen due to her friendly character and stable psyche. Julina easily handles grooming procedures and is friendly with all the people. She doesn’t panic on the crowded streets, walks good on a leash. Julina is a reserved character, she needs some time to develop trust and affection to her people.
She doesn’t panic on the crowded streets, walks good on a leash. Julina is a reserved character, she needs some time to develop trust and affection to her people. Julina is friendly with her neighbors in the kennel, loves walking and waits for her volunteer to come and take her out every week. Julina loves swimming – be it a pond by the shelter or a reservoir with water by her cage in shelter – she will go swimming or just lying in the water. Julina takes any chance to enjoy life out of the cage. Self-sufficiency is Julina’s distinctive feature. She is friendly with all the dogs, she never barks, but prefers playing on her own: sniffing, playing in the water or just enjoying the sun – this dog has never known anything good in life, so she is grateful for each and every chance to enjoy simple things.

Julina is never impudent or intrusive. When her kennel neighbors let free run to welcome a volunteer on the weekend Julina runs as well, but she will never try to be the first to get petting and attention. Julina will be standing patiently in the last row wagging her tail and waiting peacefully for her portion of endearment. Unspoiled and modest, Julina is grateful for any small piece of good. What is good about shelter dogs – even if we can’t say if they are home-trained – we can always assume how a dog will change at home witnessing her in severe shelter circumstances.
Some dogs change for bad in shelter – they become aggressive and dominative, but not Julina. She’s preserved her light and timid character and hasn’t lost hope and ability to find joy in small things.
