We’ve got hundreds of adoptable social dogs spending their whole lives in poor conditions and almost without human care and attention. The saddest and heartbraking is to witness an old dog dying in shelter without medical care. In most cases when it comes to investigation of a dog’s poor condition – it’s already too late. Speak for dogs. They can’t speak for themselves.

ADOPT A DOG
We fully realize how challenging it can be to adopt a dog thousands of kilometers away. That’s why we put all our effort not only into making comprehensive profiles but supplying potential adopters with all the requested information as well. We can make extra videos of a dog’s behavior in the environment that interests an adopter, send extra pictures and answer the questions. Our aim is to make it a perfect match between adopter and a dog. All the dogs posted on this website have been chosen for advertising due to their nice friendly characters and stable psyche. If there are any specific character traits, we always talk of them openly and mark them in dog profiles. Adopting a dog from our shelter you simultaneously rescue another shelter dog – now we can socialize this dog and conduct up to adoption.

Shelter dogs are speechless. Locked in their kennels they desperately need human voices to find home. So, it’s easy to make in impact – spread a word about the shelter and its dogs among the people you know. Promote adoptable animals using your social networking, social media, talk about us. From our side we are trying to make the whole process of choosing a dog and adoption transparent and clear at every stage. Our aim is to make it a perfect match between a dog and adopter. Otherwise, keeping a dog in Germany falls onto the shoulders of Tierschutz Russland organization. And this is something we are desperately trying to avoid as the burden on the organization is already enormous. We can’t abuse Tierschutz Russland’s help and support. Dogs profiles on this website are constantly updated, so you may proceed to promotion straight away.
FOSTER A DOG
If you can’t adopt a dog right now but still want to give hands-on help to animals in need, consider fostering one of shelter dogs. Adoption from German fostering families is usually rapid and most often takes from couple weeks to couple months, while adoption straight from shelter or Russian foster usually takes years. People prefer to meet a dog in person to build a connection. Fostering is a great help. In the shelter, every time a dog goes to a foster home in Germany, it opens up a spot for us, volunteers, for another shelter dog in need. Here we do lack facilities and financial resources to house and rehabilitate shelter animals on foster. So fostering is a great help. As well as with adopters, we share the same amount of information on a dog with fostering families. We are ready to answer all the possible questions as well, make extra videos and photos upon request.
